NX-5900 mobiles are 700-800 MHz for RX Bands: 763-776 / 851-870 MHz and TX Bands: 763-776 / 793-806 / 806-825 / 851-870 Mhz. (NX-5700 mobiles are VHF and NX-5800 mobiles are UHF.) The Kenwood NEXEDGE NX-5000 Series mobiles offer unsurpassed interoperability supporting digital NXDN, DMR, and P25 Phase 1 (conventional and trunked) and Phase 2 (trunked), plus FM analog in a single radio. Setting your radio to Mixed Mode allows operation in both digital and analog. Operates to P25 standards for public safety agencies, public works, and commercial enterprises in North America (not for use in EU). LCD screen can be viewed clearly in direct sunlight or in the dark. Offers Active Noise Reduction with DSP and superb Kenwood audio quality even in noisy environments. Kenwood NX-5000 mobile radios meet IP54 immersion standards for the RF deck of the radio and IP55 for the remote control head of the mobile radio. NX-5000 radios include 56-bit key Data Encryption Standard (DES). (256-bit AES available).
